2017 WINTER STEELHEAD SEASON STARTED OUT WITH A GREAT JANUARY!

Spent the last week fishing the Umpqua River System for winter steelhead. There was a lot of pressure on some of the sections of the river but we were able to get away from the crowd for a few of the days. Most fish are being caught side drifting but, we did pick up a couple on plugs. The rain has muddied things up but the Upper Rogue River and the North Umpqua are still fishing. Once the water starts to drop we will be fishing the South Umpqua and Middle Rogue River for hard fighting winter fish. You are able to harvest two adult Steelhead per day per person on both the Rogue And Umpqua Rivers. We have dates available in February March and April for Winter Steelhead.  We also have a few remaining dates available for our Rogue River Canyon Fall fishing adventures. These trips are offered September, October, and November. The early dates are prime for big Fall Chinooks and the later dates offer excellent Steelhead and Coho Salmon fishing.
