We have also had some monster take downs on the plugs. k11 quickfish, 3.5 mag lips and wee wigglers have all been getting attention. We have dates available for March and April. The highlight of the season for me was my oldest son Zane catching his personal best Chinook Salmon. He hooked the 39" monster first cast on the morning of day four. After a 15 minute fight on 10lb test line and a number 2 hook he was able to get the fish to the net. As the season progresses we start seeing a good number of "half-pounders" . This year we finished off the season in October with a strong run of Coho Salmon. The Coho's are a blast to catch on light tackle. We were getting them on bait, plugs and flies. There was a lot of pressure on some of the sections of the river but we were able to get away from the crowd for a few of the days. Most fish are being caught side drifting but, we did pick up a couple on plugs. The rain has muddied things up but the Upper </font><u><a href="https://www.fishinoregon.com/rogue-river-fishing.html"><font color="#91e05c">Rogue River</font></a></u><font color="#d5d5d5"> and the North Umpqua are still fishing. Once the water starts to drop we will be fishing the South Umpqua and Middle Rogue River for hard fighting winter fish. You are able to harvest two adult Steelhead per day per person on both the Rogue And Umpqua Rivers. We have dates available in February March and April for Winter Steelhead. &nbsp;We also have a few remaining dates available for our </font><u><a href="https://www.fishinoregon.com/rogue-canyon-fishing.html"><font color="#91e05c">Rogue River Canyon</font></a></u></strong><strong style="color: rgb(213, 213, 213);"> Fall fishing adventures. These trips are offered September, October, and November. The early dates are prime for big Fall Chinooks and the later dates offer excellent Steelhead and Coho Salmon fishing.
